Bovine manure. As if the EU and China are going to let themselves get bullied by American special interest groups. MS seem to have forgotten that the WTO isn't a part of the US Ministry of trade anymore...

The odd thing is, the article first appeared on CNN. I think MS realized what a stupid thing it was for Ballmer to say and had CNN pull the article. It USED to be found here.
Now you have to search archives to find it. Aside from the questionable journalism that took place when CNN pulled their own news story, one just has to laugh at how many times Ballmer makes MS appear unprofessional, greedy, and completely out of touch with reality. I do believe it was Ballmer who once stated that "Linux is a cancer". Gates is much more clever - although his proclamation implying that creative commons supporters are "modern-day sort of communists" was a little daft.
