The freedom to share, modify, and use for any purpose are the frequently celebrated benefits of free software
. These are the freedoms that give rise to cooperative software communities. As well, the freedom to distinguish one's own community-developed distribution from another is clearly important. After all, you wouldn't want to confuse Jesus
