i am a saint

Thrice have I made the confession.
"There is no system but GNU, and Linux is one of its kernels."
And thanks to vrms, I have confirmation of my holy stature. I am a saint in The Church of Emacs. Let it be known that my ranking is (tied for) second, behind only the mighty St. IGNUcius himself.

Peter, this is a fun program. I ran it and came up...well...not as clean as your system. I'm surprised this registered, though.

sun-java5-bin Sun Java(TM) Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0
sun-java5-jre Sun Java(TM) Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0
sun-java5-plugin The Java(TM) Plug-in, Java SE 5.0

Also, Opera was on my list, even though I thought they went Open Source as well.

Well once all of the licensing to GPL2 is finished and fresh, free packages are released, Java will be fine. As far as I know, the complete JRE and SE will be under the GPL. Hopefully it will all go v3 in 2007.

After chatting on IRC (gNewSense channel) I was informed that (not surprisingly) vrms is not even close to a perfect monitor. It is possible to have non-free packages that are not caught by the software. But yes, it is fun to get blessed by a virtual St. IGNUcius. :)

Opera is definitely proprietary.
